The Golden Goat Award was created so we could formally recognize Brenda, a coworker who was came to my husband’s rescue a couple times when we lived in Kansas City. She helped him because she cared. She showed up in an extraordinary way – with more than required, more than anyone asked of her. The Golden Goat Award gave us an avenue – a path for Barry and I - so we could show up for Brenda and make sure she was recognized.
Sometimes – often – we need to elevate “thank-you so much”.
That happened in 2016 and I’ve been talking about recognizing awesomeness for 7 years. I need some new material, a stable full of alternative words to describe what we are doing and voila - I found some for all of us.
